SkinPen Precision

SkinPen Precision creates controlled micro injuries that stimulate the body’s natural wound healing response which initiates the release of natural growth factors to improve collagen formation and cellular tissue.
Collagen Induction Therapy assists in the rejuvenation of the epidermal integrity resulting in improved appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. SkinPen Precision can effectively remodel scar tissue whilst maintaining the overall structure of the skin. SkinPen can be used on all areas of the face and body and can treat a number of concerns.
There are three phases involved in the wound-healing process:
Phase I (Inflammation phase) – The piercing of the skin triggers a response in your immune system which disinfects the wounds, increases blood flow and initiates new tissue formation.
Phase II (Proliferation phase) – A new network of blood vessels develop in addition to wound rebuilding involving new granulation cells.
Phase II (Remodeling phase) – The wound is replaced with new blood vessels and Dermal tissues.

Thread Vein Removal

What are thread veins?
Thread veins, or Telangiectasia, are permanently dilated capillaries, and not ‘broken capillaries’, as many people tend to call them. The very thin walls (just one cell thick) of the fine facial capillaries dilate and constrict constantly throughout life to regulate the body’s temperature. As we age, they lose their elasticity and the ability to constrict, often becoming permanently dilated and visible through the skin.
Electrolysis for Thread Vein Removal
Electrolysis for thread veins is most successful when conducted as a course rather than a one-off so as not to cause skin damage or possible hyper-pigmentation.
The very tip of the finest, smallest needle (or probe) possible (about the size of an eyelash) is accurately positioned over the vessel and a current is applied to the surface of the skin.
This causes that tiny section of vessel to disappear and the practitioner moves onto the next minute section of vessel.
A number of small vessels can be treated in each session but care must be taken not to over treat an area so sessions are usually limited to 15 minutes per cheek.

Milia is a common skin condition that causes small white bumps (cysts) under the surface of your skin.
Advanced electrolysis is one of the most effective treatments available for permanent milia removal. The procedure is quick and virtually pain-free.

Skin Tags
30 minutes – £55 (We remove as many in that time)
Removal of skin tags is simple and quick with electrolysis. The procedure consists of cauterising the skin tag with an electrolysis needle. This allows the electrolysis method to sufficiently destroy the skin tag growth. Skin tags are benign, innocuous growths which vary in size, shape and attachment. They are often found in areas where there is friction, such as where the skin creases or clothes rub. Skin tags (technically known as fibro-vascular papilloma) are increasingly common as we age and affect almost half of the population. While they are benign and do not pose any direct risk to your health, skin tags can easily be removed if they are impacting on your self esteem or mental well-being.
